So, we are faced with an error (could not locate), when the executable file needed for the operation of this or that software is not found. The problem is solved by copying the missing software and then registering it:
- Using the hotkey combination “Win” + “Pause” you need to determine the bitness of the installed OS. Depending on the information received, copy the pre-downloaded file to one of the folders.
For Windows 32 Bit: C:\Windows\System32
For Windows 64 Bit: C:\Windows\SysWOW64
- Next, using the Windows search tool, find the command line, right-click and launch the application with administrator rights. First, go to the folder where you copied the file. In our case, we use a 64-bit operating system, which means we enter:
cd C:\Windows\SysWOW64. After this, the registration itself takes place:regsvr32 oci.dll.
You may also need to restart Windows for all changes to be applied correctly.
