Sometimes when we try to launch a game we encounter an error when the system did not detect one of the DLLs. Specifically, this happens with Metro 2033, msvcp110.dll and PhysXLoader.dll.
What is this file?
The problem raised is easily solved by manually copying the data and then registering it. According to statistics, problems are most often observed with msvcp110.dll and PhysXLoader.dll. We will install them with this.
How to Install
Let's move on to the practical part of the article:
- Go to the download section, download the archive, unzip the contents and place all included files in the first or second path. The choice of directory depends on the bitness of the operating system (checked by simultaneously pressing “Win” + “Pause”).
For Windows 32 Bit: C:\Windows\System32
For Windows 64 Bit: C:\Windows\SysWOW64
- Another window will appear in which we will be asked to provide access to administrator rights. Click “Continue”.
- Now let's move on to registration. We turn to the command line, which must be launched with administrator privileges. Using the operator
cd
, go to the folder into which you just copied the missing component. We register using the commandregsvr32 имя файла
and then pressing "Enter".
Problems may also occur with other games. These are, for example: Metro: Last Light, Exodus or Redux.
