DS4Windows is an application with which we can connect the Sony DualShock 4 game controller to a computer running the Microsoft Windows operating system.
Program description
The program allows you to connect and flexibly configure a joystick to your computer. All functions are supported, including vibration. It is also possible to work via the Bluetooth wireless protocol.
It is also possible to work with special profiles that allow you to quickly switch settings to use different controllers.
How to Install
In this case, installation is not required, which means we only have to consider the correct launch:
- Download the archive with all the necessary files.
- Extract the data and double-click the mouse to launch the executable file shown in the attached screenshot below.
- As a result, the program will open. Its shortcut will appear on the taskbar. Right-click and pin the icon for later access.
How to use
To connect and configure a game controller on your computer, you need to pair the device. As a result, the joystick will be automatically detected and you can go directly to the configuration.

Any program, including DS4Windows, has both strengths and weaknesses.
