InSSIDer is a set of utilities with which we can analyze any available wireless and wired networks, for example, for security analysis.
Program description
The user interface of the program is shown in the picture below. As you can see, we can work with several local or wireless networks at once. All connected devices are displayed in a list view. The table also contains a number of diagnostic data, which is most often enough to check the security of the network.
Using the button at the end of the page, you can download the version of the program, which is provided in repackaged form and does not require installation or activation.
How to Install
Since installation is not needed in this case, let’s consider the process of proper launch:
- Download the executable file and extract it.
- Launch the application, then right-click on the add-on icon in the taskbar for a quick launch shortcut.
- If a warning appears about the need to provide access to superuser rights, we also agree and wait for “Yes”.
How to use
After launching the application, you will see all available local networks, as well as devices connected to them and diagnostic data.
